Make A Difference

Our corporate partners play a vital role in how we help children affected by cancer and their families traverse their courageous cancer journey. In contrast to adults, the treatment protocols for children are often delivered on extended timescales over many months. For example, a child with Leukaemia may undergo continuous chemotherapy for 39 months or more. Your organisation can make a real difference in enabling time to re-group for the journey ahead, cementing memories in the hearts of those you are helping and support children to process the difficult range of emotions experienced from dealing with cancer.

There are many ways you can help:

CHOOSE Kids Cancer Charity as your Charity of choice in your office, shop or branch and encourage staff and customers to get involved by raising awareness of our plight and vital funds. From placing a collection tin(s) in your reception area to conducting Raffles or organising a ‘Duvet Day’, there are so many ways you could help us.
HELP us spread the word about the work we do by inviting us along to tell your staff and customers more about us.
RAISE our profile by promoting our events and encourage colleagues who are thinking of taking part in challenge events to nominate Kids Cancer Charity as their good cause. Improve wellbeing and unite as a team and undertake a challenge together.
BOOST fundraising by setting up a ‘Matched Giving Policy’ for staff who are fundraising.
DONATE to us by giving gifts in kind or vouchers that we can pass onto our families.
GIVE us your time and skills. We have lots of volunteering opportunities available from collecting to cheering!

We couldn't put it better ourselves so here is their story in their own words - 'As four fathers of children that have either battled, or are still battling with cancer, we understand first hand the challenges and heartaches that families endure when their little ones face such a daunting illness. That's why we've decided to take action by participating in a skydiving fundraiser in support of Kids Cancer Charity.Every donation made to our Just Giving page will directly contribute to the fantastic efforts of the charity, as the cost of the skydive has been covered by ourselves.Kids Cancer Charity have been caring for and supporting families like ours for over 30 years and their hard work helps to ensure the quality of life for children with cancer is a right, not a luxury. They are probably best known for their ‘Holiday Programme’ which offers trips to caravans on specially chosen sites situated on the Welsh coast, where our families can get away from the pressures of hospitals and treatments. The programme also provides resort holidays in Walt Disney World in Florida and Disneyland Paris, where their partners can provide a unique programme of supervised and special facilities. Put simply, their aim is to provide us with memories to last for a lifetime.By participating in this skydiving event, we want to not only raise funds but also spread awareness about childhood cancer and the pressing need for continued support and research.
